Durham Culture & Arts – Invest to Restart

Support the Proposal for American Rescue Plan Funding to Help Durham’s Creative Sector Recovery from the Covid-19 Pandemic & Catalyze Economic Growth

The Covid-19 Pandemic has caused over $20.5 million in revenue losses in our arts and cultural sector.    To date, pandemic relief grants for arts and cultural organizations and artists through Durham Arts Council, local, state, & federal sources has been able to relieve $6 million of the losses.  The funding gap still exceeds $14 million!

Durham Arts Council is asking you to endorse a proposal to the City and County of Durham for $3 million in ARP funding to support arts organizations and artists in Durham.

North Carolina’s Annual Conference of Art & Action
April 17-19, 2023

ARTS Day 2023 will be live in Raleigh! Conference Day will be Monday, April 17, 2023 and Legislative Day will be Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Registration will open in February of 2023. Stay tuned for more details and we hope to see you there.
