Winter Class Registration Opens December 1st!

Winter 2024 Class Registration Opens Friday, December 1st at 10am. Classes are posted in Civic Rec and a digital version of our catalog is available on our website here! Print versions of the catalog are available at the DAC building. Make your New Year the most creative yet with classes and workshops taught by our awesome teaching artist faculty.
New classes include: Friday Night Makes workshops creating Tiny Paintings, Floral Arrangements, Hand-Carved Stamps, Zentangle, Embroidery and more! Weekly crochet classes for beginners and more advanced students alike Smartphone photography and editing to take your skills to the next level.
More offerings for teens, including classes in Colored Pencil, Fiber Arts, Chalk Pastel, Photography, Graphic Design, Theatre and more. There’s quite a bit in store for a fantastic cold weather season at the DAC!

The Motown Sound of Christmas is Pure Life Theatre’s new iteration of this holiday favorite. Complete with music made famous by The Temptations, Gladys Knight and the Pips, The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Martha and the Vandellas just to name a few. Join Maestro William Henry Curry, the Durham Symphony, and Emcee Anthony Wilson (WTVD-ABC 11) for an unforgettable evening of festive music at the Holiday Pops Concert and Silent Auction Fundraiser! This family concert is one of our most popular and longstanding events, featuring classical works and music honoring Christmas, Kwanzaa, Chanukkah, and the upcoming New Year! The dessert buffet, carol sing-along, and silent auction fundraiser add to the fun and are a great way to kick off the holidays. More info here
