Proud partner of the NC State Employees Combined Campaign - Charity #1593 Dear Durham Arts Council Family,
As a jazz musician and composer, I especially love this time of year – the holiday music and the rhythm of the season lifts my spirits and makes me hopeful for the coming year. As the President of the Durham Arts Council Board of Trustees, this season makes me especially grateful for all the good work done each year by the DAC to bring the arts to everyone! I am proud to serve and support this organization and I am asking you to join me with your renewed support as we reach the close of the year.
The pandemic has brought us changes and challenges that we never could have imagined, but there have been blessings as well; new ways of working, collaborating, and creating, and especially the gifts of support from generous people like you - who are devoted to ensuring the arts survive and thrive now, and in the days ahead.
YOU make the work we do possible, and I want to personally Thank YOU! Without generous donors and program participants like YOU, DAC would cease to exist.
As 2021 comes to a close, please consider supporting the Durham Arts Council Annual Arts Fund. Your support is crucial in helping DAC continue to serve the community. Our aim is today – as it was pre-pandemic – to create a vibrant community through the arts. We invite you to remain a part of our mission!
Wishing you a happy and peaceful holiday season and hope for a bright New Year in 2022.
Most Sincerely,
Baron Tymas President, Durham Arts Council Board of Trustees
