The Traveling Tortoise

The Traveling Tortoise
The Traveling Tortoise was founded on the principles of the importance of early childhood science education and conservation through education. For over a decade, The Traveling Tortoise has provided “hands-on” science education for students of all ages and abilities. Thousands of students, from preschool thru high-school, have learned and enjoyed their interactive, live animal science education. Partnered with the NC Tortoise Sanctuary, The Traveling Tortoise provides wildlife rehabilitation and is active in many herpetological societies. ARTS-CURRICULUM INTEGRATION: (SCIENCE) (WILDLIFE/HERPETOLOGY) (SOCIAL STUDIES) (VISUAL ART)
