Grey Seal Puppets
Drew Allison is the founder of Grey Seal Puppets. He is involved in all phases of production. For the past thirty years, Drew has performed regularly at venues like The Center for Puppetry Arts, The Smithsonian Institution, The Detroit Institute of Art, The Tampa Theatre and The Philadelphia Museum of Art. Drew was awarded The President’s Award by The Puppeteers of America, three UNIMA Citations of Excellence in Puppet Theatre and a Jim Henson Foundation Grant. He’s a teaching artist on the SC Arts Commission and Engaging Creative Minds rosters.

Performance Tangle of Tales
GRADES: K-5
A collection of folk tales from around the world including The Frog Prince, Billy Goats Gruff and The Three Little Pigs. A variety of puppet styles are used to tell these stories in a traditionally staged format.
Max Participants: 400
Duration: 45 minutes + a 10-min post-show demonstration of the characters (55-mins total)
Special Requirements: 20′ wide by 15′ deep by 10′ high performance area needed. We are self-contained and arrive with our own staging, sound system, and lighting.

Performance Bathtub Pirates!
GRADES: K-5
An original story by Grey Seal Puppets that focuses on imagination. Captain Blackbeard and his crew take over a little boy’s bathtub to use their pirate ship. All is well and good until “The Kid” realizes he needs to take back his bathtub! Unique puppet and staging styles make this an unforgettable performance. Winner of an UNIMA Citation of Excellence in Puppet Theatre.
