Durham Pottery Tour + Skip Cunningham Pottery Fundraiser Saturday, November 8 | 10 AM–5 PM Durham Arts Council
Join us for a special stop on the Durham Pottery Tour at the Durham Arts Council, featuring a one-day pottery sale honoring beloved local artist Skip Cunningham. Skip’s beautiful handmade pieces will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting DAC’s clay studio.

Durham Arts Council and Downtown Durham Support local artists and help keep Durham’s creative spirit shining bright this holiday season! The Durham Art Walk Holiday Market returns on November 22 & 23, transforming downtown into a festive marketplace filled with fine art, handmade gifts, live music, and holiday cheer.
Art Walk Sponsors Partnering as a sponsor is a wonderful way to: -Connect your brand with thousands of shoppers and art lovers -Celebrate local creativity and small businesses -Support DAC’s year-round work in arts education, exhibits, and community programs

DAC’s Emerging Artists Grant Applications are now open. Find application links are more information on the DAC website.
The Emerging Artists Grant Program provides financial support to developing or established professionals by funding a project pivotal to the advancement of their careers as artists. Pivotal projects may happen at different stages of a career, therefore Emerging Artists Grants are not restricted to unestablished artists.
The Emerging Artists program is funded by The Mary Duke Biddle Foundation, the Kelley Katzenmeyer Fund, the Anika James Foundation, the DAC Annual Arts Fund, and it is supported by our Partner Counties (Chatham, Orange, and Person). |

The Durham Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and local arts agency dedicated to supporting the arts in Durham and the NC Triangle Region since 1954. Each year DAC serves over 400,000 visitors and participants, over 2,000 artists, and more than 300 arts and cultural organizations through classes, workshops, events, grants, and advocacy.
DAC is a catalyst in the cultural development of Durham – it leads, inspires, and promotes excellence in and access to the creation, experience, and active support of the arts for all the people of our community. |
