Volunteer at CenterFest

Help make this beloved community event possible – VOLUNTEER at CenterFest! All volunteers are given a CenterFest T-shirt in thanks for their assistance.

Pre-Festival Volunteering
You can choose to volunteer for “Pre-Festival” shifts-which happen the week before CenterFest, and help staff with prep work. The “Pre-Festival” shifts are from noon-2pm and 2-4pm Monday, Sept 15 through Friday, Sept 19. Tasks may look like the following

T-Shirt Organizing
Artist Services Prep-prep packets and signage
Kids Zone Prep-prep crafts
Signage Help-put signs on cars in Downtown about road closures, put up posters for event

Pre-Festival Volunteer Sign up

Festival Volunteering
You can choose to volunteer for “Festival Volunteer” shifts which happen during the festival. Shifts start Saturday, Sept 20 at 5:30am and end at 7pm on Sunday, Sept 21. Tasks may look like the following:

Flex Position– Volunteers will fill in where needed.

Arrival Assistant- Help direct vendors to their booth locations when they arrive to set up (only applicable to Saturday and Sunday morning)

Artist Services Assistant- Assist visual artists in trouble shooting, booth sitting for break, and delivering lunches.

Gate Greeter– Welcome the public to the festival and encourage donations to support Centerfest, count people who enter in the festival with a clicker and hand out programs.

Kids Zone Assistant– Assist with arts activities in kids’ tent.

Soda Sales– Serve Coca-Cola products to attendees and sell t-shirts.

Info Booth– Give out literature about DAC events and classes. Make sure volunteers get t-shirts.
