GRANTEE SPOTLIGHT – SHALEIGH DANCE WORKS |
In case you missed it…
enVISION: The Next Chapter is an innovative performance that redefines the experience of dance and theater by engaging senses beyond sight and sound. Designed for individuals who are low-vision, blind, low-hearing, or deaf, this interdisciplinary work explores whether we can “listen to what we see” and “see what we hear.” The audience can choose to experience the show blindfolded or with earbuds, and five participants will have the unique opportunity to join the performers onstage. This American Dance Festival commission builds on the 2022 production enVISION: Sensory Beyond Sight.
ShaLeigh Dance Works is a past DAC Catalyst Grant and Season Grant recipient.
