The Durham Arts Council is pleased to exhibit Durham Public Schools Art Instructor Showcase, DAC’s second exhibit collaboration with the entire school system, in the Allenton and Semans Galleries of the Durham Arts Council building, 120 Morris Street, downtown Durham. The public is invited to enjoy the newly installed exhibit and live music by Jeremy Tucker and a performance by Kristin Taylor Duncan, 6-8 pm on Friday, March 17th for the Third Friday open house.
Durham Public Schools Art Instructor Showcase is a curated survey of pieces from art teachers across the system and across all grade levels. 50+ pieces by 17 teachers will be included in the exhibit.
In addition to this opening, the Durham Art Guild’s Swing into Spring online art auction and fundraiser show will be on first floor Truist Gallery.

Masks are recommended to enter the Durham Arts Council building. This event is free and open to the public.
