Please note the following update to the DAC Mask Policy:
As of November 1, 2022 - Masks are Welcome in the DAC Building but not required. We encourage you to wear a mask if you will be in close proximity (less than 6 feet) to other visitors, students, or employees. Clay Students: Students and instructors in the DAC Clay Studio are strongly encouraged to wear a mask due to clay materials and clay dust. |

Planning for the Durham Cultural Roadmap is underway!
Led by the Durham Cultural Advisory Board (DCAB), development of the Cultural Roadmap will include input from a Cultural Roadmap Planning Group comprised of volunteers who reflect the diversity Durham, including young people and members of the cultural and business communities. For more information about the Cultural Roadmap and the process for applying to be a member of the Planning Group click here. Durham Arts Council will be integrally involved with this planning effort on the Steering Committee and sub-groups.
The development of the Durham Cultural Roadmap will include numerous opportunities for all Durham residents to share their wishes and priorities through surveys and community meetings. Information gathering will take place from late 2022 through 2023 and the Roadmap will be completed by December 2023.

Don't Forget Teacher Workdays are Coming Up! Register for Camp Today!
These camps are designed for students’ ages 5 to 12 years old and accommodate year-round and traditional school breaks. Students participate in both visual and performing arts activities that are inspired by the camp theme. Each week has different activities so campers can participate in multiple weeks. Camp runs from 9 AM to 3 PM. Drop-off begins at 8 AM. *DAC provides a prepackaged snack, but campers must bring their own lunch.

Durham Pottery Tour
The Durham Pottery Tour will be taking place on November 12th and 13th. It is a collection of local potters sharing their work and love of clay with the community since 2014. Learn more about the tour and participating potters here. |
