The Durham Arts Council is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day coordination of our historic downtown arts facility. This position plays a key role in supporting rentals, events, building operations, and visitor experiences while working closely with staff, artists, community partners, and clients.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and can balance multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail. From managing facility schedules and client communications to coordinating building staffing and supporting special events, this role helps ensure that Durham Arts Council remains a welcoming, efficient, and vibrant destination for the arts.
